| The class of 2012 has been signed! Once again our staff was committed to bringing in a great class of student-athletes. We signed more speed than we have in recent years and the overall GPA of the new Eagles is near 3.0! The talent was spread across the country and continent. We continue to focus our recruiting efforts in the State of Michigan, landing 6 in state players. Added to those 6 were players from Ohio, Indiana, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Canada.

| The search for the next great crop of Eagles has begun. The staff has been prospecting next year’s talent and we hosted 2 Junior Days in the month of February. There is certainly a buzz in the Midwest about our program as we hosted over 220 players from Michigan and the surrounding states. The young men and their families were treated to a EMU Men’s Hoops game and also got to tour our facilities and meet the staff. It was a great step to signing the class of 2013

March is right around the corner, and the Power and Strength phase of our off season development program is coming to a close. Our players have been working with Strength and Conditioning Coach Mike Szerszen and have continued to gain weight, get stronger and gain athleticism. Our coaching staff has had a chance to witness this progress during our Take Victory agility workouts. The returnees eagerly anticipate Spring Practice, which begins on March 8th, and the climb to the 2008 MAC Championship.
